What is it?

Network Management Solution is a solution package to assist a company with maintaining their computer infrastructure, ranging from webpage design to company server solutions, workstation maintenance to user maintenance.

Who is this for?

This process is intended for companies with employees between 4 and 50 users and with a DSL or better grade of internet capabilities who need a Computer Specialist that is available to manage both workstations and servers, but is unable to actually devote to the cost of a full time Computer Specialist.

What is it about?

Once a year, a Computer Specialists will sit down with the head of the company and several of the most knowledgeable members of the staff to develop a comprehensive network and computer policy to ensure that the all of the companies needs in security and asset protection are met. Also, a list of critical services and time frames are configured to allow the company to emphasize what is most critical for it to continue its work and have as little downtime as possible.

The Computer Specialists then configures and maintains local server systems based upon the network policies that were decided upon by the client. Each of the local servers will relay information pertaining to its health and status to the Computer Specialists central computer system which will allow the Computer Specialist to monitor issues with the servers that can affect the server, often times allowing the Computer Specialist to correct issues before the server goes down.

Weekly the Computer Specialist will remotely access the servers and do routine maintenance to ensure that the server is running at peak efficiency. Depending upon the companies specialized needs and current applications, the routine maintenance can be altered to incorporate the special programs unique to the company.

Workstations will also be configured based upon the workstation policies that were decided upon. Each workstation will be configured to relay the event logs to allow the Computer Specialist to see the current situation as well as historical knowledge. This information can then be analyzed by the Computer Specialist to determine if there is a possible issue arising, or even how to correct issues that are harder to find.
